The price you are currently paying hasn’t changed since 2008. However since 2008 the minimum wage has increased from $7.15 to $11 and will continue to increase every year.

Along with the tight labor market we have to raise our prices to continue to hire and retain high quality teachers for your child.
Effective January 1st 2020 our prices are going up.
The 2 Hour Abacus & Reading price for ACH customers is going up from $150 to $170
The 1 Hour Abacus & Reading price for ACH customers is going up from $95 to $115
The $10 book fee is also going away. It will be replaced with a $99 annual fee. This will cover all books for the entire year whether your child is enrolled in 1 program or multiple. Most kids in the Abacus program get 10-15 books including the Common Core books. Reading students get 8-10 books. This change will simplify our accounting and allow us to save on processing costs. You will also no longer see a monthly fluctuation to your charges.
This price increase is unavoidable and something we must do in order to continue to hire and retain the high quality teachers you've come to expect. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to any of our managers.
